Hello All,

 

 

Well the average sale price for the month went down by a whopping 1.9% (sense the sarcasm). With the List:Sell ratio still sitting right around 60%, and all average price categories sitting between $341K-$345K, there seems to be no slowing down here in good ol' Saskabush. Which made me take a good look at the happenings in rural Saskatchewan... Do you know that this year, to date, there has been almost $220M dollars in rural/small town real estate that has changed hands. Unbelievable!! There just seems to be action everywhere. 

 

And what will happen now that we finally have a "Circle" Drive?!? When you can cut down your driving time to & from certain areas, by ten minutes or more, and not having to drive through some of the city's seedier areas to get to Hampton Vilage, or Montgomery, or, even what I believe is a hidden gem of an area, in Holiday Park, you almost have to believe that action in these areas will increase. In turn, we should see some increased selling prices as the demand for these areas grows. 

 

Exciting times in Saskatoon as we grow into a little metropolis in the middle of the prairies. As the city grows, watch for the economical and cultural layers to develop. It will make our city better, and attract even more outsiders. It's hard to not be a little enthusiastic and proud of where we came from when you see not only Saskatoon, but Saskatchewan, start to mature.
